O FORTUNA!

One of the things I love most about music is its ability to convey emotion and feelings in a way that transcends the limitations of language.

But sometimes there are passages of language that manage to convey those emotions in a unique and beautiful way. The medieval Latin Goliardic poem “O Fortuna”, written in the 13^th century, is one such passage.                                                                                   (I have included the poem below).

For the next pedal in my Nouveau series I took this poem and created a pedal which I feel aligns with the text of this poem. With it’s epic, panoramic vision….

Fortuna offers fuzz with the ability to dial in an Octavia effect (generating a note an octave above the note you’re playing) and a sub octave note ( one octave below the note you’re playing). You can blend in as little or as much of the octave up or octave down as you like.

I designed Fortuna so you can place her anywhere in your signal path, unlike most fuzz pedals which have to be placed first in your pedal chain.

Use it as a phenomenal stand alone, straight ahead fuzz, or dial in the additional two notes to enter an expansive world of polychromatic fuzz glory!
